  1. Man and women this is an awesome gift for anyone even beginners

  2. The drone is amazing, and folds down to the size of a tennis shoe. Easy to whip out in a flash and be taking phenomenal 4k video and photos quickly if you come across something unplanned. Minimal setup once the initial configuration has been done. But DO NOT SKIP setting up, doing compass, IMU, and gimble calibration. Also ours was having a lot of trouble staying connected to the controller out of the box. In excitement to get droning my son nearly lost it (thought he was an expert because he had been droning with similar drones at high school). Do the calibration and link controller – don’t watch $1000 flying off into the sunset. Check out youtube there are plenty of setup vids for it now.The Platinum definately is quieter than the mavic pro. We know this for a first hand fact. Son is in drone club so has several other brands/makes/models to compare with. As for the ultimate bundle – it has everything – several lense filters, two full sets of replacement blades, flip out landing pad (stake it down or put a couple rocks on it – will blow away). The batteries are the platinum not just mavic pro so they match color scheme. The hard shell backpack case and accessories are what you would get if you purchased from ultimaxx site separately. Good quality, solid foam cutouts for everything in pack. The multi charger does NOT simultaneously charge 4 batteries though, it does them sequentially – just wanted to point that out. You’ll get a 16 and 32 Gig micro SD includedNote for serious user- we got the ultrabundle with 5 drone batteries to be fully mobile away from recharging station. It has come into almost immediate use – bad tornadoes in central virginia – drone club helped local cleanup, law enforcement, and ems.NOT INCLUDED – but worth considering -I went ahead and purchased 2 ultra 64 sandisks separately and also included a couple rechargeble USB battery packs (the controller itself has internal battery to charge over microusb connection and if you are using android/ios phone you’ll want to be able to power both in field.

  3.  Attempted to have my first flight this morning, but when I went to try and take off in beginner mode the app said it couldn’t take off. Looking into it, I found an error that both front motors weren’t functioning properly.I attempted to try and calibrate the motors using the DJI assistant, then tried to reflash the firmware and try other versions of the firmware to possibly fix a software issue, then looked at the board to see if something wasn’t plugged in properly. No dice. With an experience like this, I’m loathe to try a DJI product again if this is what I get out of the box. If anyone can suggest another drone brand, I’d appreciate it.
