  1. Either battery was bad or would not charge. I returned it.

  2. At the one month point I feel this was a very good deal. It came out of the box looking new as it is a certified refurbished laptop. This was meant to be an interim solution until a new more advanced one could be purchased. Have not had HP before but i like it, a lot. So far it has not been tasked with any large Excel file or the likes of that but i suspect this one will be used as a spare in the household. It streams video very well. Have watched Netflix on it without any spooling. Particularly like the keyboard. Fits my hands well and the touch is very nice. I would have preferred a SSD drive however at this price point, $219, you can’t go wrong. I do miss a backlit keyboard. It’s a must for me. A very, very nice laptop.

  3. For the price, it works very well and powerful enough to handle common Word and Excel tasks. I couldn’t tell this wasn’t a new computer when it came out of the box. It is very solidly built. If there are any downsides to this device, it would be that it’s pretty heavy, but that’s a small price to pay for a well running laptop.

  4. Has been working fantastic and was a great price

  5. I like it. I don’t love it, but I like it.The reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is because sometimes it’s REALLY fussy. Like, for example, the mouse pad doesn’t work very well and I have tap on it multiple times to get it to register. It also doesn’t want to load up things sometimes, like it acknowledged I’d tried to open whatever it was, but just couldn’t connect and stopped. Sometimes I have to restart the computer just to get it to allow me to open something. I can’t imagine what’s causing that. I’ve updated my Windows version, so… yeah. Some kind of software issues, but I can’t figure out why it just won’t do anything sometimes.Anyhow, I didn’t buy this to play Skyrim or something. I just needed something that I could use to go online and do some other basic functions, and for that, even with the little loading problems and the crappy mouse pad, I’m overall satisfied with this computer.
