  1. Well, I thought I was purchasing from a reputable vendor in order to get an authentic battery, but it seems not. Attached you will find an image of the battery. The low quality of the QR code, and the fact that it is un-scannable is the biggest give away. This would obviously never pass as good battery by Samsung’s measures. I imagine that some of the batteries listed are authentic, and some aren’t, but given that there is no way to know in advance this is a gamble. If you do order, just make sure to double and triple check your battery before assuming.

  2. My original phone battery lasted me over 3 years before finally going out on me. Since then I have bought these replacements twice, one in January 2017 and one in December 2017 when that one was already getting bulgey. As of this review the one bought last month worked for a couple weeks, then started not holding a charge. It’d be plugged in and the number’d go down unless the phone was off entirely. When it DID charge it did so extraordinarily slowly, and got so overheated the phone was literally flashing a warning sign about it and I had to put it in the fridge to cool off. I notice other recent reviews have mentioned some similar issues and the belief that it’s likely because of knock-offs and old batteries stocked somewhere and frankly, with what I’ve observed over the last year I’d not be surprised at all.I’ve started the return process on this and will soon be returning the cable I purchased as well in the naive belief it was a charging cable issue instead. And I would advise anyone thinking of purchasing these to look for other, better quality/safer battery replacements. Because unless/until Amazon looks into and corrects the issue with these, they aren’t worth the money and to be honest, I’d go so far as to say are a safety hazard.

  3. These are not OEM. Bought 2 of these and 1 was dead on arrival. Doesn’t hold a charge at all. The other one my wife uses in her phone and she says it drains very fast. She has to keep a charger on her to make sure she can use the phone for the whole work day. She’s going back to her 5 year old battery.

  4. Poor product quality.Used and charged only 3-Times.After 3rd charge battery BULGED” and could not be placed in case and back snapped on.Defective/poor quality battery.Defective/poor quality. After 3rd charge battery “BULGED.” Would no longer fit in case.Sign of defect chemical system and/or poor enclosure quality. You can always check to see if your battery has “BULGED”.Lay the battery on a level, flat surface.Try to spin the battery with your finger on the flat surface.A “GOOD” battery cannot be spun. A defective “BULGED ” battery will spin like a top.Always check your battery before first use and after several charges to make sure it’s not defective.

  5. Bought this battery 2 months ago and within weeks it would only hold a charge for no more than 5 hours. My return request was denied because 30 days had passed. The extremely short warranty should have been a sign that the company doesn’t have much faith in its products and I should have stayed away but the less than $10 price was too attractive … lesson learned. Wound up getting a SUNZOS Replacement Battery┬áGalaxy S5 Battery, SUNZOS 3200mAh Li-ion Replacement Battery for Samsung Galaxy S5/S5 Active [ I9600, G900F, G900V ( Verizon) , G900T ( T-Mobile ), G900A ( AT&T ),G900P(Sprint)] [3 Years Warranty] a couple of weeks ago that keeps my old S5 charged for a full day which proves there wasn’t anything wrong with my phone. Don’t waste your money on this worthless product, spend a couple of dollars more for a battery that will hold a charge for more than a few hours and has a reasonable warranty.
