Overall, the Lenovo Ideapad has been a great value. The "issues" if you want to call them that, are things that I am not sure if I can attribute to the laptop, or the internet service I have. One issue that Wi-Fi connected devices have in my home (even with an extender) is a strong signal on the opposite side of the house from the antennae. So right now, when things are slow on the computer, it seems that it is a result of the Wi-Fi/internet. Other than that it has performed as expected.I did deactivate the touchpad, as I found that while typing the bottoms of my hands, or wrists would constantly be touching it and moving the cursor around. I always have a traditional mouse plugged in anyway so there is no lose of use for me. In the event I actually take the laptop out, and in an area where I can not use the mouse, I can always turn that back on when needed.

So far so good after 3 days. SUPER easy to set up, can use for work and normal day to day stuff. Big fan for the price.

Not the fastest computer ever, but it gets the job done. I ordered this after I bricked my other lenovo by spilling water all over it. I just wanted a cheap replacement laptop to surf the web, listen to spotify and watch movies. I used windows 10 on it for about two weeks before installing lubuntu. windows 10 ran pretty well actually, but I prefer linux os. This laptop is nice and light, the battery lasts all day and for most of tomorrow, which is nice. The only thing I've noticed is some web pages such as cnn and espn can tax the cpu, as well as HD video, but it's not enough to really pull your hair out over. I love the light weight of this laptop and it's long battery life.

Always loved Lenovo and this laptop is no different. The big screen is nice, the trackpad has actual buttons and not virtual buttons, and the Core i3 is a great baseline for an all-around use laptop. Performance was what was expected for a laptop with a hard drive so I upgraded the hard drive to a solid state drive and this thing has all kinds of pep and speed - boots up in 12 seconds.

Haven't used it much yet. Seems fine. Does not come with office so be sure to consider the price of that when comparing to others this size.

For some reason, this is the worst laptop I've ever used. I have uninstalled every extra non-essential program I can. Uninstalled the trial of McAffee and activated the included windows defender and still it's the slowest system I've ever used. Not to mention that it freezes and locks up constantly. I'm no expert but I have an Acer, A gateway and a Dell PC and Laptops that I've used for years without issues. I can troubleshoot most problems. This Laptop is a big fail!!

I am actually writing on this chromebook. I was initially hesitant to get a chromebook due to possibly being more limited than a traditional laptop. Well, I've been very surprised at it's capacity. When I think about what I really am doing with a computer and actually a chromebook is exactly what I should be using. The best tweak I have made is adding a wireless mouse that has made me like this machine even more. It's fast, and does what I need it to do. I am not looking for a powerful gaming console, just internet access and stuff I can do on the cloud. Battery life has been great. Screen is fine; not ultra hi-def. It does the job. It was a crazy good deal when I bought it...I bought 3 more for my college age kids. Oh, and it's built a little more rugged specs due to being an education model. Would buy again.

This was a great little Chromebook until the screen went black a month after I purchased it. Amazon allowed me to return it, which I did and received credit on my account. I saw the UPS delivery person put the package in the truck. Now over a month later, I received a message that the Chromebook wasn't returned, even though they credited my account shortly after it went off in the UPS truck. I assumed that when it was scanned, that was when my credit was processed. So now I am a bit miffed, to say the least!
