Product Description Rugged Construction A rubber bumper around the top cover absorbs the force of side bumps. The corners are 50 percent stronger, to reduce damage when dropped at an angle. The bezel is thicker, to protect the LCD panel, and a stronger rear cover reduces accidental LCD damage. The hinges and brackets have been strengthened, to last 50,000 cycles and to withstand more force to the cover. Reinforced ports and a reduced gap between anchored keys help prevent accidental damage from a bored child's xploring fingers. This is one tough machine.Multimode Versatility Easily change between four modes – Laptop, Stand, Tablet, and Tent – for whatever you choose to do. This device’s unique design and touchscreen display allow the screen to flip 360 degrees, so you can select the mode that best matches your needs at the time.Dragontrail Glass Multitouch Display Scratch- and crack-resistant, Dragontrail glass is far tougher than typical soda-lime glass. Six times stronger than conventional glass, a 0.4-inch sample can withstand 132 lbs of weight! But it’s still sensitive enough to read your multitouch commands with greater precision and faster response times.Integrated HD Webcam The low-light-sensitive, 720p HD webcam with face-tracking, plus dual digital-array microphones, will help you enjoy web conferences or online video chats like you're really there.Powered USB Port Enjoy the benefits of an always-on port, charging your USB devices without having to turn on your laptop.HDMI Output For easy connection to a television or other display. UPATE to 1 start: this piece of junk now has the famous yoga BLACK SCREEN defect. After only a few months of use. Google and you will see what it is. needed something that would play videos without lag, larger than a tablet (for my poor eyesight) but smaller and lighter than a laptop. It is somewhat lighter, and smaller, and it does play videos without lag. However the built in ultranav mouse control panel is pathetic. really unusable. both the drag sensitivity and the click section of the panel are useless. really annoying.this has been a problem with Lenovo laptops for years, you'd think they would have fixed it by now.I should also mention that the people who designed this are not too swift- they put the power button on the right side, towards the front of the machine. EXACTLY where you have to hold on to it when you have to insert a usb plug. so about 1/2 the time you plug in a usb device, you will also turn off the computer! HAHA. Never another Lenovo for me...

If you are looking for a smaller computer/tablet that you can use for general computing, this is a great little machine for the price. It is not a workhorse, it is not exceptionally fast, but it does lay flat and can be used in tablet mode or like a standard laptop. It is a little heavy and can get warm when sitting in your lap for large duration of time but as a second computer to use in the living room for checking social media, replying to emails, and playing some game apps it does the job.

I love this little computer. I needed something to take in the field with my radio, this is a tough and functional little workhorse. The battery has been a nice surprise too. For the price it's a good deal. The Ram and hard drive can be upgraded down the road as well. For my specific use, it's perfect.

The only negative review here is the one claiming it was "an inheritance" which means, a) they did not buy it from GoldenDustDealer, b) if Lenovo was distributing illegal copies of MS software, they would lose all credibility and be fined and probably even shut down and c) the reviewer was upset with the McAffee, and blames Windows 10 for Defender not turning on. They don't know that simply uninstall McAfee completely, and Defender will activate. It is not a valid complaint against the product or its distributor. I took this into consideration before ordering...THIS LAPTOP ROCKS. The product arrived exactly as described. The nicest, fastest, laptop I've ever had, and it was delivered in 5 short days. Excellent sound and killer video display. LOVIN' the keyboard feel and appearance.More than happy, even though I paid 8% more than today's cost!

First off, love the lighted keyboard. No more tilting the screen down to shed light on the keyboard. For those who say that their keyboard wasn't lighted, you need to hit the orange Fn key then hit the space bar to turn the lights on and off. In your defense, laptops nowadays come with minimal set up instructions so this was not explained until you went to the installed user manual. There was no bloatware installed. Yay. Only two trial subscriptions to McAfee and Microsoft Office which I uninstalled as I have a account with Comcast that supplies free Norton Security Suite, plus I had a copy of Microsoft Office Pro 2010 which is fine for me. The chassis of the laptop is a solid stainless steel-like metal which makes for a solid keyboard. The only issue with the keyboard is that the right shift key is small which may be a typist's concern but not a big deal. So far, I am getting over 4 hours of battery life with the keyboard iighted. The Dolby sound is fantastic as other reviewers have noted. DVD player is wonderful with Power DVD 12 program installed. Heat exhaust is NOT on the bottom but to the side. Two 3.0 USB ports.

I was able to return this Windows 10 computer. Had some zero day flaw in the software that would not allow me to watch DVDs. Thank you Amazon for allowing me to return this shoddy Windows 10 computer. Is it Microsoft or Lenovo that's at fault? I would blame Lenovo for not thoroughly testing the computer with Windows 10 before putting it out for sale. And, get this, Lenovo support wanted me to pay extra to fix a brand new computer that never worked right from day one!
