Our local library bought around 20 of these to replace their aging 8440p laptops. Here's what I think of them:Pros:- Lightweight- Great battery life- Great wireless range- Speedy 180GB SSD- bright, clear 1366x768 displayCons:- Awkward trackpoint (Keyboard cursor)- fingerprint prone aluminum case- no expresscard or HDMI- so-so graphics performanceSummary:This is probably the cheapest quality business laptop as of 2015, so go get it! It's fast, light, and has a continuous brushed design that is very appealing. There are 4 USB 3.0 ports which is a big plus, despite the lack of HDMI or express-card. Online gaming was a bit choppy, but general loading of applications and boot time is amazing. I can sit in the corner as far away from the library router as possible (40 feet) and still get a strong signal. The display is very nice. Even though it's a 1366x768, I can see everything clearly and fit all of my work on one screen. It can be upgraded to a 1080p which would be good for designers or media professions. The keyboard has a very responsive key travel; you can feel the key hit, but not to the point where it's too bouncy. The trackpoint in the middle of the keyboard is a little too slippery and is hard to keep a grip on. Also, they tend to pop out with very little effort. Overall, I recommend this laptop for anyone needing a cheap, portable, and zippy machine with a great battery life.4/5 stars (-1 only because of the trackpoint and lack of necessary I/O)- Luke- December 24, 2015
Good computer when it's working well. However, it frequently shuts down from overheating due to poor vent design. I've never had this issue with any laptop before. Please spend your money on a better laptop if you're even considering this.- June 13, 2016
